Dear parents,
This week our class has begun word work in French! Every two weeks the students will be assigned a list of 10 words to practice. These words will be glued into their agendas every other Monday. The words will be chosen based off of frequency in French, student needs from observations, as well as key words connecting to units currently being studied in the classroom (science, social studies, language, etc.).
Our class will have time in class over the two weeks to practice their words by choosing from 20+ possible activities during station time based on their own interest and learning style(s). Given the practice time in class, students are not required to practice the words at home, unless they feel like they would like the extra practice.
The words for this week and next are: et, toi, puis, enfant, quoi, comment, pourquoi, quand, aussi, beaucoup
Take care,
Mme. Campbell
