New due date for graphing project in Math

Hello!  This past week Mark Janke, a Technology Consultant with the Board, taught our class how to use Google Sheets on the computer to make professional-looking graphs using their own data.  The students are keen on using this program and have been busy finishing their graphing projects in math, so I have extended the due date to Thursday, October 5th.
The graphing project involves developing a survey question, surveying the kids in our class using a tally sheet and creating one graph on paper and another on the computer, based on their data.  Questions have ranged from how many times the students have visited Algonquin Park to their favourite type of technology.  The students are also answering (en français) questions involving what information they found from their survey, whether it was different or the same as they had predicted and how this information could be used in real life.  For example, when one student found that the destination of choice for students in our class was New York City(!), he decided that a flight company could create more flights from Toronto to New York City, based on his research.
Let me know if you have any questions.   Mme Lindsay
