Pizza for sale, nut allergy and a picnic ...

Hello again!

I hope that you were able to get outside with your families on the beautiful fall weekend.  Just a note to let you know that pizza is sold at HPS for $2 per slice.  Varieties offered are Hawaiian, pepperoni and cheese or vegetable.  Books of five pizza tickets for $10 are also sold.  Pizza money is collected every Tuesday morning (starting tomorrow) and the pizza is delivered every Thursday during second nutrition break.
Also, please don't send in any food with nuts into the school, as we have several students, including a student in our classroom, with nut allergies.
To celebrate the beginning of the new school year and the fact that many aspects of the Town of Huntsville are within walking distance of HPS, Mme Christensen and myself will be bringing the class down to Avery Beach this Wednesday afternoon for a picnic, between noon and approximately 2:30 p.m..  You are welcome to join us.  (We will be eating our regular lunches there.)   Please fill out and return the blue permissions form as soon as possible, so that all students have permission to come with us.
We look forward to meeting you and your families at the upcoming Meet the Teacher Night this Thursday between 5:30 - 7:00 p.m..  A bientôt!  Mme Lindsay

P.S.  Ask your child who "Spotty" is!
